Seven year old battles for life

His parents are both the daily wagers and their seven year old daughter is seriously ill and they have been to door to door to find the relevant funds for treatment of their beloved child. They are from the Budhiapadar village in Murshibahal block and they are earning their living by working as the daily wagers and they are enlisted in BPL category which is known as below poverty line. Their daughter’s skin had developed rashes all over and wrinkles develop all around after the age of three months. They had very meagre saving and with it they had gone to the district headquarter hospital in order to have good health care at Bolangir Hospital  and then to VSS medical at Burla and even to a hospital to the neighboring state of Andhra Pradesh of Visakhapatnam for diagnosis of the disease. Due to no proper guidance and the detection of disease through insufficient mechanisms and knowledge based doctors, the condition of the little girl has only worsened with due course of time and the disease aggravated in the coming following months. According to their parents, every time they visit the new hospital the doctors does prescribe completely newer medicines to their utter surprises and the old medicine and the treatment gone unnoticed. With each new treatment and the doctors ignoring the past history of treatment her conditions is fast becoming more and more worsened. Till now none of the treating doctors able to find the real reason behind the disease, rashes and the wrinkles some of them is suspecting to be Epidermolysis Bullosa /Perphigus a chronic sub-epidermal blistering disease. Till now they have spent over one lakh for their treatment and as per their economic conditions implies it is really the higher amount and it seems that they have spent the higher amount what they have been anticipating. They are now completely dearth of funds and are in completely difficulty in finding the resource for their child for further treatments. They are now seriously lack of funds as they desperately wanting to make treatment for their child but due to financial reasons they are not being able to do so. They had met the concerned block development officer of their region to make the required request for the consolidation of funds from the chief minister relief fund.
